The Coal Drop

This shade reads as a softened charcoal green, with enough grey in it to keep it restrained and usable on walls and woodwork. It absorbs light well, so it will feel darker and more enveloping in a north-facing room, where the green can look a touch cooler and more slate-like. In south-facing light it warms slightly and shows more of its earthy green side, while still staying sombre rather than bright.
