About this fabric

The colour sits between charcoal grey and muted navy, with lighter threads catching across the otherwise deep ground. Its dense, compact weave gives the swatch an opaque appearance, while subtle vertical tonal shifts add quiet movement. The softly napped chenille texture keeps the dark shade from looking flat. With its substantial-looking surface, this colourway is particularly well suited to upholstered seating.

How to use it

Pair Marabou Notte with warm timber, aged brass and pale stone to balance its cool blue-charcoal depth. It also works as a tailored dark upholstery on sofas, occasional chairs or banquettes.

Use this deep blue-charcoal chenille to give upholstery a quietly tailored, textured finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
