Curtain fabrics Fabric005

White Lac sets detailed bird-and-branch imagery against a pale ivory ground. Charcoal, taupe and soft ochre threads give the swatch a quietly aged, naturalistic character.

About this fabric

A large bird occupies the lower portion of the swatch, surrounded by branching stems, patterned fruit and finely drawn leaves. The ivory ground keeps the composition light, while charcoal and grey outlines add definition without making the colourway feel stark. Muted taupe and soft ochre accents warm the design with a subdued, antique note. As a jacquard from Dedar’s Curtain fabrics collection, its woven surface is particularly suited to full-length drapery that allows the large-scale scene to remain visible.

How to use it

Use White Lac at a bright window or in a calm bedroom, pairing its ivory ground with warm stone, weathered timber and charcoal detailing. The restrained taupe and ochre notes also sit comfortably alongside natural linens and aged brass.

Use this pale ivory jacquard for curtains where its detailed bird-and-branch scene can be read in full.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
