Avenue Linen

Fabrics Fabric20

Avenue Linen shows closely spaced vertical stripes, with a quiet linen-toned ground interrupted by taupe and muted terracotta lines. The restrained contrast gives the swatch a softly graphic, tailored appearance.

About this fabric

The stripe layout is narrow and regular, with the warmer terracotta concentrated through the centre and paler taupe lines extending towards the edges. Its woven surface reads as matte and even rather than glossy, allowing the soft rust tone to add depth without becoming vivid. No composition, width or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use the warm linen and taupe foundation to soften a neutral sofa or curtain scheme, then echo the muted terracotta stripes in a cushion, painted accent or small decorative detail. The vertical rhythm also suits tailored blinds, relaxed curtains or neatly upholstered occasional seating.

A finely striped woven textile bringing warm linen, taupe and muted terracotta into upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
