Violetta Linen

Fabrics Fabric5

Violetta Linen presents a series of fine vertical stripes in softened taupe, olive and natural-looking beige tones. Its subtly textured surface gives the colourway a calm, woven depth rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

The design is formed from closely spaced vertical lines, with darker olive-taupe bands alternating against lighter beige-taupe stripes. The restrained contrast keeps the pattern quiet while the visible weave adds gentle variation across the surface. This muted, slightly cool colourway reads as earthy and understated, with the lighter stripes catching the eye more softly than a high-contrast stripe. No composition, width, rub test or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Pair the softened taupe and olive tones with chalky neutrals, weathered timber and olive accents for a relaxed, tonal room. Its vertical direction can add understated structure to curtains, occasional upholstery or cushions.

Use the muted taupe and olive stripes to bring quiet rhythm to upholstery, cushions, curtains or layered neutral interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
