Tulipe Spice

Fabrics Fabric62

Tulipe Spice pairs a warm, softly off-white ground with repeated tulip-like botanical motifs in a deep spice brown. The clear contrast gives the design a composed, graphic character while retaining the warmth of the cream background.

About this fabric

The pattern is arranged as upright stylised flowerheads, each formed from fine brown radiating stripes above a slender stem and layered, angular leaves. Against the cream ground, the spice tone reads earthy and gently softened rather than bright, giving the swatch a grounded vintage feel. The surface appears relatively smooth with a subtle textile texture visible across the plain background. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Tulipe Spice where its warm cream background can lighten a scheme while the brown botanical repeat adds definition: a tailored armchair, dining seat, Roman blind or full curtain would all suit its balanced scale.

Use the warm cream ground and spice-brown tulips to bring a graphic, tailored accent to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
