About this fabric

The fabric has a small, regular woven texture rather than a printed motif, with closely spaced yarns creating an even crosshatched surface. Avio reads as a muted, cool teal: deeper than pale aqua but less saturated than a vivid turquoise. The flat weave gives the colour a softly heathered appearance as the light catches individual threads. This listing is catalogued as a Fabric in Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection; no composition, width or rub-test figures are supplied.

How to use it

Use the restrained blue-teal tone on a tailored occasional chair, headboard or cushion, then echo its cool depth with chalky whites, pale grey and aged timber. Its even weave can also provide a composed curtain treatment where a plain textile is preferred.

Use this cool avio-teal weave to bring understated colour to upholstery, cushions or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
