About this fabric

The colour sits between warm rust and brown, with a muted, earthy intensity rather than a bright orange cast. Its narrow vertical texture catches the light in delicate lines, creating gentle tonal movement across the surface. The close, even ribbing and substantial-looking face make it best suited to upholstery. This fabric is catalogued in Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection; no composition, width, rub-test rating or further performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use the burnished terracotta tone to bring warmth to a reading chair, sofa or headboard, particularly alongside tobacco leather, dark timber and softened cream tones. The vertical rib can add quiet structure to generous upholstered forms without introducing a separate pattern.

The warm, earthy terracotta tone and fine vertical rib make this a characterful choice for upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
