Ripley Deep Forest

Fire-retardant Fabric002

Ripley Deep Forest combines a near-black forest green ground with repeated, softly arched lines in a lighter green. Its tactile woven surface gives the geometric pattern a quietly dimensional appearance.

About this fabric

The design is made up of orderly rows of overlapping scallop shapes, creating a compact, rhythmic pattern across the cloth. In this colourway, the deep forest ground reads cool and saturated, while the finer green lines catch the light enough to define each arch without becoming bright. A visible nubby weave softens the precision of the motif and adds surface depth. As a structured textile from Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection, it is well suited to upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use Deep Forest on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its dark green depth can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and quieter natural neutrals to bring out the subtle contrast in the pale green pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
