Sibilla Napoli

Fire-retardant Fabric020

Sibilla Napoli presents a softly luminous butter-yellow ground with an almost plain appearance. Fine horizontal lines move quietly across the surface, giving the colour gentle depth rather than a printed pattern.

About this fabric

The warm yellow tone sits between pale cream and clear golden yellow, reading light and welcoming without becoming bright or saturated. A delicate horizontal grain is visible throughout the swatch, adding a restrained textile character to the otherwise plain face. Its even, versatile appearance makes this colourway suitable for either upholstery or drapery where a calm, sunlit finish is wanted. Sibilla Napoli is catalogued as a fabric from Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection; no composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied.

How to use it

Use this pale butter yellow to brighten a neutral sitting room, pairing it with warm white, natural wood and soft taupe. The subtle horizontal texture also works well on relaxed curtains or a simply upholstered occasional chair.

A softly warm yellow with a discreet horizontal weave, suited to light, calm upholstery or gently tailored window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
