Gabbiano Quasinero

Indoor/outdoor fabrics Outdoor004

Gabbiano Quasinero presents a deep charcoal-brown ground that sits close to black, with fine lighter threads bringing subtle definition to the surface. Its compact woven texture gives the swatch a calm, tactile depth rather than a flat solid appearance.

About this fabric

Catalogued as an Outdoor fabric, Gabbiano Quasinero is suited to upholstery where a dark, understated textile is required. The visible weave is small and closely structured, with brown and charcoal threads creating a softly irregular, almost peppered surface. In brighter areas of the swatch, the interlaced yarns catch the light gently; in shadow, the colour settles into a near-black tone. The result is a composed, contemporary neutral with more depth than a plain black fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway on outdoor seating, cushions or occasional upholstery when you want a near-black anchor without the starkness of pure black. Pair it with pale stone, warm timber or weathered metal so the fine brown undertone becomes more apparent.

A near-black woven neutral that gives outdoor upholstery a grounded, quietly textured finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
