Jacquard fabrics Fabric003

More Is More :003 Noir Jais makes a bold monochrome impression through a dense black-and-ivory woven grid. Its softly broken lines and flecked surface keep the pattern tactile rather than stark.

About this fabric

The close-up shows an irregular, small-scale checked structure, with short black bars and flecks interrupting an ivory ground. The uneven edges give the jacquard a lively, hand-textured appearance, while the compact weave reads as substantial and upholstery-friendly. Black areas shift in density across the surface, creating gentle tonal depth instead of a flat printed contrast. As no further performance or construction specifications were supplied, suitability should be confirmed against the intended upholstery application.

How to use it

Use Noir Jais on a tailored accent chair, ottoman or compact sofa where its graphic black-and-ivory rhythm can act as the room’s defining pattern. Balance the cool monochrome contrast with warm timber, natural leather or softly coloured plain textiles.

Use this high-contrast black-and-ivory weave to give an upholstered chair or sofa a graphic, tactile finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
