About this fabric

This colourway has a substantial, tightly woven braid structure with a rounded profile and crisp raised edges. Near-black bands dominate the image, interrupted by warm ivory panels and small muted plum-violet passages that appear as the loops turn. Directional light picks out the fine crosswise weave, giving the black sections a restrained sheen while the ivory areas catch the brightest highlights. No composition, width, usage or rub-test specification is supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use the black-and-ivory braid to sharpen the edge of dark upholstery, where its high contrast will read as a deliberate tailored detail. The muted plum accents add a quieter note of colour when the trim is viewed from different angles.

A high-contrast woven braid with ivory highlights and discreet plum accents for tailored upholstery detailing.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
