Jacquard fabrics Fabric001

Pauline Domino makes a strong graphic impression through its tightly repeated black-and-ivory houndstooth. The compact motif reads as a finely textured surface rather than a flat printed check.

About this fabric

This Dedar jacquard is woven in a high-contrast near-black and warm ivory combination, giving the colourway a crisp, tailored character. Small houndstooth units run consistently across the swatch, creating lively movement at close range while settling into a darker, almost charcoal-looking field from a distance. The visible woven construction adds subtle surface depth as the light catches the alternating threads. Its dense textile appearance makes it a natural choice for upholstery where a defined, patterned finish is wanted.

How to use it

Pair Pauline Domino with warm ivory, charcoal and natural wood, using it on a structured chair, bench or compact sofa to sharpen a restrained room. Its near-black-and-ivory contrast also works well against softer plain textiles in stone or oatmeal tones.

Use this crisp black-and-ivory check to bring graphic contrast to tailored seating and occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
