Trimmings Fabric001

Pin017 Rouche Marzapane-Liquirizia is a richly dimensional Dedar trimming, shown here with loose, undulating fringe in ivory, taupe, plum and deep brown. A dark woven band frames the movement and gives the colourway a grounded, dramatic finish.

About this fabric

The close view reveals long, irregular fibres with a softly tousled surface rather than a flat printed pattern. Pale ivory and taupe strands catch the light against muted plum and deep brown, creating a smoky, slightly antique tonal depth. The firm-looking dark woven heading provides a strong contrast to the lighter fringe and helps define its edge. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this textile SKU.

How to use it

Use the warm ivory-and-plum mix as an ornamental edge on a dark sofa, occasional chair or cushion, or pair it with deep brown drapery for a theatrical layered finish. Its varied tones can also pick up taupe upholstery without making the scheme feel overly matched.

Use the richly coloured fringe to edge upholstered furniture, cushions, pelmets or layered window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
