Audubon Gold places vividly illustrated birds, trailing foliage and delicate insects across an ivory ground. Gold and olive plumage gives the colourway a warm, luminous depth, balanced by charcoal, black and soft grey detailing.

About this fabric

The design features toucans, parrots and other exotic birds among curling stems, leaves, bees and hanging tag-like details, with the fine linework remaining clear against the pale background. Gold and olive feathers provide the strongest colour accents, while charcoal, black and grey wings add contrast and a more graphic edge. With a 222gsm weight and 137cm usable width, this fabric has a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. The pattern repeats vertically every 68.5cm and horizontally every 138cm, with a standard length of 40m for larger-scale projects.

How to use it

Pair Audubon Gold with warm ivory, olive and charcoal furnishings to echo its plumage, or use it as a statement fabric where the large repeat can be fully appreciated.

Use the ivory ground and gold plumage to bring an illustrated, jewel-like accent to upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
