About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke wallpaper has a distinctive marbled appearance, with dense charcoal strokes gathering into curved, layered bands and finer lines trailing through the cream background. Subtle gold-brown warmth within the darker marks softens the contrast and gives the design depth as the light moves across it. Supplied at a 52 cm usable width and a 10.05 m standard length, it has a 52 cm vertical repeat with no horizontal repeat. At 381 gsm, the wallpaper has a substantial specification suited to showcasing this large-scale, undulating pattern across a wall.

How to use it

Use this colourway as a statement wall behind a console, bed or seating area, balancing its cool charcoal depth and warm gold accents with cream upholstery, dark wood and aged-metal details.

Pair the warm cream ground with dark timber, aged brass and softly textured neutrals for a layered, gallery-like scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
