Herbarium Charcoal/Gold

Botanica Wallpaper WallpaperCCW0022-01

Herbarium Charcoal/Gold places delicate botanical specimens across a pale ivory ground, with fern fronds, slender stems, layered leaves and a softly outlined poppy. The low-contrast charcoal and muted gold palette gives the design a gently aged, collected feel.

About this fabric

The artwork combines a dark fern at the lower left with fine upright stems, flattened leaf clusters and a translucent poppy whose layered petals sit in soft grey-gold tones. Charcoal-brown details are balanced by subdued ochre and taupe, so the pattern feels atmospheric rather than sharply graphic against the ivory background. This wallpaper has a 52 cm useable width and a 64 cm vertical pattern repeat, with no horizontal repeat specified. Each standard length is 10.05 m, and the supplied specification records a weight of 381 gsm.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a bedroom, study or quiet sitting-room wall where its cool ivory ground and softened charcoal foliage can sit alongside aged wood, linen and warm brass. Its vertical stems can also give a narrow alcove or chimney breast a gentle sense of height.

An ivory ground and softly weathered charcoal-and-gold botanicals bring quiet, vintage character to a feature wall.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
