Beetle Multi

Botanica Fabric FabricCCF0206-03

Beetle Multi places individually drawn beetles across a softly textured cream ground, with olive, yellow, blush pink, purple and dark detailing creating a lively but gently faded appearance. The small-scale arrangement feels illustrative rather than overwhelming.

About this fabric

The light cream background is crossed by a fine, even woven texture that gives the colourway a quiet natural depth. Beetles appear in varied olive, mustard, blush, mauve and violet tones, with dark legs and outlines adding definition without making the overall cloth feel harsh. With a 360gsm weight and 126cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 23cm vertical repeat and 21cm horizontal repeat, while the stated standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use the warm cream ground on a chair, bench or relaxed curtain, then pick up the muted pink, olive or plum beetle details in plain cushions and painted furniture. Its softly mixed colours work especially well where a room needs pattern with a light, playful finish rather than a strong contrast.

The softly textured cream ground and lively beetle colours bring a playful character to upholstery, cushions and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
