Pavone Charcoal/Natural

Botanica Fabric FabricCCF0222-02

Pavone Charcoal/Natural presents tightly layered, feather-like fan motifs in cool charcoal, soft grey and natural ivory. The dark strokes give the pale ground a graphic, marbled depth while retaining a light overall impression.

About this fabric

The repeating plume forms are built from fine, curved charcoal and grey lines that gather into pointed fan shapes across the natural ground. This colourway feels cool and restrained rather than stark, with the pale areas allowing the darker arcs to remain clearly defined. At 322 gsm, it has a substantial mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery. The fabric has a 138 cm usable width, a 40 m standard length and a 30 cm vertical by 34.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat.

How to use it

Pair the cool charcoal markings with pale stone, chalk or smoky grey furnishings for a calm monochrome scheme, or use the natural ground to soften darker timber and black accents. The directional fan pattern can add visual rhythm to a tailored chair, headboard or generous curtain.

Use the cool charcoal and natural palette to bring graphic movement to tailored upholstery or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pavone Charcoal/Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
