About this fabric

This substantial 299gsm textile shows charcoal and soft grey foliage, flowers and fruit against a warm ivory background, with the tonal contrast giving the design a measured, slightly antique depth. A pheasant sits among the sweeping branches, while the large peonies provide the strongest visual focus. The fine horizontal rib visible across the ground adds quiet texture beneath the detailed botanical imagery. With a 142cm usable width, a 75.5cm vertical repeat and a 35.5cm horizontal repeat, the pattern needs considered placement when cutting larger upholstered or curtained pieces.

How to use it

Use Avium Charcoal to upholster a traditional armchair or sofa where its cool charcoal detail can stand against warm ivory walls, or let the long botanical repeat flow through full-length curtains. Pair it with textured greys, chalky neutrals and dark wood for a composed, collected room.
