Abelia Chartreuse has a muted yellow-green tone with an olive cast, while its irregularly crinkled surface creates a softly shaded, tactile appearance. The close-up shows tonal texture rather than a defined motif.

About this fabric

This 580 gsm Clarke & Clarke fabric has the substantial weight expected of an upholstery textile, with a dense-looking surface marked by fine, uneven creases. Its chartreuse colour sits between warm yellow and mossy green, reading earthy rather than bright or neon. The tonal shifts across the swatch give the plain ground depth as light catches the folds and slightly darker green lines. With a 140 cm usable width, 30 m standard length and zero vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, it can be planned without matching a printed design.

How to use it

Use Abelia Chartreuse on a statement armchair, footstool or compact sofa where its warm olive-green cast can sit alongside natural wood, tan leather and quiet neutrals. The irregular texture adds interest without introducing a separate motif.

Use this earthy chartreuse upholstery to bring softly crinkled texture and warm green colour to seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Abelia Chartreuse without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
