Isla Teal/Gold

Botanica Fabric FabricCCF0216-04

Isla Teal/Gold pairs a deep blue-green ground with closely packed pale-gold tracery, creating a richly detailed surface with a cool, softly graphic character. The fine irregular motif gives the colourway visual depth without becoming brightly saturated.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a dense field of small, pebble-like and branching marks in pale gold against deep teal, with a subtle textile grain visible beneath the pattern. At 312gsm and 139cm wide, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. Its pattern repeats every 33cm vertically and 23cm horizontally, keeping the small-scale design closely connected across a larger cut. The teal reads cool and shaded, while the gold marks catch the eye as a muted contrast rather than a bright metallic accent.

How to use it

Use Isla Teal/Gold on a statement armchair, occasional upholstery or full-length curtains where its cool teal base can anchor warm wood and brass details. Plain cream, sand or muted olive companions will let the close-set gold pattern retain its definition.

Use this cool teal and gold textile to bring detailed pattern and measured colour to upholstery or window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Isla Teal/Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
