About this fabric
This 295 gsm fabric shows an airy herbarium arrangement of ferns, elongated leaves and open flowers, spaced across a near-black charcoal background. The pale sage and grey-green foliage appears especially crisp against the dark ground, while the lilac and blush petals introduce restrained colour rather than brightness. It has a usable width of 139 cm and a substantial 61.5 cm vertical pattern repeat, allowing the individual specimens to remain clearly visible on a finished piece. The 139 cm horizontal repeat follows the full usable width, giving the layout a broad, gallery-like rhythm.
How to use it
Use the charcoal ground to anchor a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains, pairing it with warm timber, chalky walls and muted lilac or sage accents. Keep surrounding patterns quiet so the widely spaced botanical specimens provide the room’s main decorative focus.
The deep ebony ground gives the pale fern fronds, green leaves and lilac-pink flowers a composed, gallery-like presence.
