About this fabric

This substantial 509gsm fabric has a tactile, irregular surface in which the black pattern appears softly distressed rather than sharply printed. Vertical charcoal bands contain small alternating diamond shapes, while the surrounding white areas form larger, mirrored geometric motifs. At 140cm wide, the design has a 15cm vertical repeat and an 11.5cm horizontal repeat, allowing its structured rhythm to carry across upholstery. The cool black-and-white contrast reads confident and architectural, while the uneven texture keeps it from feeling severe.

How to use it

Use this cool, high-contrast colourway on a statement armchair, bench or tailored sofa, pairing it with charcoal, ivory or warm timber to temper the graphic pattern. Its vertical banding can also emphasise the shape of a clean-lined upholstered piece.

Use the crisp black-and-white contrast on a tailored chair or sofa, with plain textiles to balance the busy woven motif.
