Botanica Fabric FabricCCF0213-04

Herbarium Mineral places delicate botanical studies across a pale mineral-blue ground. Olive fern fronds, mustard leaves and a vivid rust-orange poppy bring measured colour to the softly textured cloth.

About this fabric

The cool mineral-blue background has a fine, lightly crosshatched texture that gives the design a quiet woven depth. Ferns, stems and individual leaves are rendered in muted olive and grey-green, with mustard-gold foliage and one saturated rust-orange poppy providing stronger accents. At 295 gsm and 139 cm wide, this mid-weight fabric is suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The 61.5 cm vertical repeat and 139 cm horizontal repeat should be considered when positioning the larger fern and poppy motifs.

How to use it

Pair Herbarium Mineral with chalky whites, weathered timber and olive upholstery for a calm botanical scheme, or pick out the mustard and rust details in cushions and ceramic accents.

Use the cool mineral-blue ground to lighten seating, cushions or full-length curtains, with ochre and rust accents echoing the printed leaves and poppy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Herbarium Mineral without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
