About this fabric

This Dedar jacquard fabric has a nubby, uneven surface that gives the ivory base visible depth rather than a flat, printed appearance. Espresso-brown flecks and short horizontal and vertical bars create a loosely structured check, with softened edges that keep the pattern from feeling rigid. The warm contrast reads as earthy and substantial, while lighter exposed threads lift the overall tone. Its dense woven appearance makes it particularly well suited to tailored upholstery where the irregular grid can be appreciated across a larger surface.

How to use it

Use it on a compact sofa, occasional chair or headboard alongside warm timber, aged leather and soft ivory textiles. The espresso-brown pattern gives pale rooms definition without introducing a harsh black contrast.

Use this textured ivory-and-espresso jacquard to bring tailored contrast and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
