Memorando Terra D'Ocra

Curtain fabrics Fabric003

Memorando Terra D'Ocra has a warm ochre-brown ground with a close, tactile weave and a softly broken pattern of darker dash-like marks. Its earthy depth changes subtly across the surface as the light catches the woven texture.

About this fabric

The colourway reads as a muted mix of ochre, tobacco and deep brown, giving the cloth a grounded, burnished appearance rather than a bright golden finish. Small irregular dark marks form broken diagonal rows across the face, creating movement without becoming a bold graphic. The dense, pebbled weave is clearly visible at swatch scale and gives the surface a quietly substantial character. Listed in Dedar's Curtain fabrics collection, Memorando Terra D'Ocra is particularly suited to drapery where its warm, mottled tone can soften daylight.

How to use it

Hang it as full-length curtains in a room with warm plaster, walnut or aged brass, or pair the ochre-brown tone with linen neutrals to let the broken woven pattern remain understated.

Use this earthy ochre-brown weave to bring softly patterned warmth to curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Memorando Terra D'Ocra without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
