About this fabric

Broad right-angled pathways create a continuous geometric meander across the swatch, with the cream sections giving the design a strong, architectural lift against the dark brown. The brown reads warm and earthy rather than cool, while the cream brings brightness without making the colourway feel stark. Small horizontal flecks in the weave are visible throughout the lighter areas, adding tactile variation to the precise pattern. As part of Dedar’s Jacquard fabrics collection, this is a graphic textile suited to upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use this warm, high-contrast colourway on a statement chair or bench, then repeat the cream in cushions or curtains to soften the deep brown geometry. It also works well in a room with walnut, dark timber or other earthy finishes.

Use the warm brown-and-cream contrast to bring graphic structure to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Meander 1954 Brown without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
