Mazarin Ebano

Jacquard fabrics Fabric005

Mazarin Ebano has a strong architectural character, combining a deep ebano-brown tone with warm ivory lines in a tightly repeated maze design. Its close, tactile weave softens the graphic pattern without losing its definition.

About this fabric

This fabric is part of Dedar’s Jacquard fabrics collection and is catalogued as a fabric. The visible design is an all-over arrangement of interlocking, angular paths, with ivory channels sharply set against a dark brown ground. Fine woven flecks across both tones give the surface a textured, dimensional appearance rather than a flat printed look. The colourway reads warm, grounded and moderately high-contrast, making the geometric repeat particularly suited to structured upholstery.

How to use it

Use Mazarin Ebano on a compact armchair, dining seat or footstool where its deep brown base can anchor a room; pair it with warm ivory, tobacco or muted stone upholstery around it to echo the two visible tones.

Use the deep brown-and-ivory contrast on a tailored chair or ottoman, balancing its graphic geometry with quieter textured plains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
