Meander 1954 Red pairs a warm brick-red angular maze with a pale cream ground. The tightly woven surface gives the pattern a precise, architectural appearance.

About this fabric

This is a Fabric from Dedar’s Jacquard fabrics collection; no composition, width, rub test or performance feature has been supplied. In the image, continuous right-angled bands create an interlocking labyrinth, with the red-orange tone reading warm and grounded against cream. Fine woven flecks soften the hard geometry slightly, adding visible texture without reducing the clarity of the motif.

How to use it

Use this warm brick-red colourway on a tailored occasional chair or upholstered bench, where its cream ground can connect with lighter upholstery and its maze motif provides graphic definition.

Use the warm brick-red and cream contrast to bring tailored energy to an armchair, bench or statement cushion.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Meander 1954 Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
