About this fabric

This Dedar velvet is woven in a deep wine-burgundy tone, with a subtly textured ground that absorbs much of the light. Uneven scarlet-red wave motifs sit in repeated horizontal rows, their raised edges catching the light more brightly than the background. The contrast is saturated and moody rather than soft, giving the design a distinctive graphic rhythm on upholstery.
