About this fabric

This Candoglia colourway is a muted dusty rose, with a softly heathered surface that gives the pink a gently chalky depth. Repeated ivory-white, hand-drawn-looking wave bands travel horizontally across the face, their irregular edges standing out against the ground. The velvet construction is visible in the short, light-catching pile, which shifts subtly from rosy mid-tones to paler flashes across the swatch. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the dusty rose velvet on a statement chair, headboard or compact sofa, allowing the ivory wave motif to bring a restrained graphic detail to the room.

Use the muted dusty rose ground to soften upholstery, with ivory wave lines adding a graphic accent.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Nouvelles Vagues Candoglia without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
