Satin fabrics Fabric002

Gildo Perla is a very pale ivory satin with a quiet, softly luminous appearance. Its near-solid surface gives the colourway a calm, refined presence in the close-up view.

About this fabric

The swatch reads as a cool-leaning ivory cream, with a subtle warmth that prevents it from looking stark white. A fine, even textile grain is visible across the surface, while the satin finish creates a restrained sheen rather than a high-gloss effect. There is no visible printed motif, allowing the delicate tonal variation and smooth face to define the fabric. Its light, fluid appearance makes it particularly suited to drapery where the pale tone can catch and diffuse daylight.

How to use it

Use Gildo Perla for full-length curtains, relaxed Roman blinds or softly gathered window treatments in rooms built around ivory, limestone and pale timber. Its gentle sheen also pairs well with brushed metal and quiet tonal upholstery without introducing a strong contrast.

A softly luminous pale neutral for airy curtains and understated schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
