Satin fabrics Fabric001

Queneau Wall Cenere has a pale, softly weathered appearance, combining cool grey with a restrained taupe warmth. Fine vertical striations run through the surface, giving the cloth subtle direction without a strong decorative motif.

About this fabric

Part of Dedar’s Satin fabrics collection, this colourway is defined by its close, irregular vertical texture and gently mottled tonal variation. The light grey base is softened by faint taupe and silvery threads, so it reads quieter and warmer than a crisp, cool grey. Its fine, even surface has a softly brushed visual quality that catches the light along the vertical grain.

How to use it

Use Cenere for full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds where its pale grey-taupe tone can bring gentle structure without darkening the room. Pair it with chalky whites, natural timber and muted stone shades to draw out its soft, weathered character.

Its quiet Cenere colouring and fine vertical grain suit softly tailored curtains in calm, contemporary rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
