Queneau Wall Moutarde

Satin fabrics Fabric008

Queneau Wall Moutarde is a richly warm mustard-gold satin with an even, almost unpatterned face. Its fine surface catches the light gently, giving the ochre tone a quiet glow rather than a high-contrast shine.

About this fabric

The colour sits between deep yellow and ochre, with a softened earthy depth that feels warmer than a clear lemon yellow. A delicate, closely woven texture is visible across the swatch, while the satin finish creates subtle tonal variation as the light moves over it. The face remains visually calm and plain, allowing the distinctive mustard shade to provide the character. No performance features, composition, width or rub-test information are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the warm mustard tone for full-length curtains where its restrained sheen can glow against cream, walnut or darker brown furnishings. It would also bring a rich, enveloping accent to a room with muted neutrals and aged brass details.

Use this softly glowing mustard satin to bring warmth and a polished, enveloping finish to curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
