Satin fabrics Fabric010

Queneau Wall Amaranto presents a close, even field of deep wine-red, with the satin surface catching light softly rather than flashing brightly. Its near-plain appearance lets the richness of the colour carry the swatch.

About this fabric

Seen close up, the surface has a fine, even texture with only the faintest tonal variation across the cloth. Amaranto reads as a deep burgundy-red with an oxblood depth, giving the colour a warm, enveloping presence rather than a bright scarlet effect. A restrained satin glow moves across the surface as the light changes, adding depth while keeping the overall look composed and refined.

How to use it

Use this deep amaranto red for generous curtains or roman blinds where its soft satin reflection can enrich natural and evening light. It also brings a dramatic, cocooning note to a room with warm timber, dark metal or softly contrasting neutrals.

A rich wine-red satin with a restrained sheen, ideal for full-length curtains and elegant soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
