About this fabric

The fabric has an almost plain appearance, with a very fine surface texture visible beneath its satin sheen. Marsala reads as a warm, dusky burgundy rather than a bright red, giving the colour considerable depth without appearing harsh. Light gathers softly along the lower fold, showing the cloth’s fluid drape and reflective finish. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this marsala colourway for full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds where its wine depth can add warmth and intimacy. It works particularly well against pale neutrals, smoked timber and softly layered lighting.

A rich wine-toned satin with a restrained sheen, best used for elegant curtains and soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
