Less Is More Magnolia

Sheer fabrics Fabric001

Less Is More Magnolia brings a pale magnolia tone to a finely textured sheer ground, crossed by softly spaced warm horizontal bands. The subtle contrast gives the cloth a quiet sense of rhythm without overwhelming its light appearance.

About this fabric

Catalogued within Dedar’s Sheer fabrics collection, this fabric has a pale magnolia ground that sits between soft ivory and warm cream. Fine vertical slubs create a delicate, lightly irregular surface, while the horizontal bands appear as muted golden-beige lines with softly feathered edges. The bands are spaced across the length of the swatch, creating a restrained stripe effect that remains airy rather than graphic. Its sheer-looking construction and gentle tonal movement make it particularly well suited to drapery.

How to use it

Hang Less Is More Magnolia as relaxed full-length curtains in a warm neutral room, allowing daylight to bring out the pale gold bands and fine vertical texture. It would sit comfortably with ivory, limestone, light oak and softly brushed brass.

Use this softly textured magnolia sheer at windows where its warm horizontal bands can catch the light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
