Grammelot Roccia

Upholstery fabrics Fabric002

Grammelot Roccia combines a warm ivory ground with taupe-brown, maze-like lines that shift across the surface in an irregular geometric rhythm. The woven texture gives the colourway a softly tactile, considered presence.

About this fabric

The base reads as warm ivory rather than stark white, while the taupe-brown motif adds gentle contrast without becoming harsh. Its looping, angular lines form broken geometric pathways, creating a medium-scale pattern with plenty of visual movement. The close view shows a noticeably nubby woven surface, with the lighter ground and darker lines catching the light differently across the swatch. This upholstery fabric has a smart, quietly graphic character suited to seating where the neutral Roccia palette can soften the pattern.

How to use it

Use Roccia on a tailored armchair, sofa or bench alongside chalky walls, natural timber and oatmeal textiles. Its warm ivory-and-taupe balance works especially well where a room needs pattern without strong colour saturation.

A quietly graphic upholstery choice, pairing warm neutrals with an expressive maze-like motif.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Grammelot Roccia without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
