Monza Iron

Arezzo Fabric

Monza Iron is a restrained grey colourway with a softly textured, linen-look surface and a cool-to-warm iron tone. The finish reads quietly tailored rather than glossy, with fine vertical slubs giving the cloth gentle movement.

About this fabric

This Fabric from Fryett's Fabrics’ Arezzo collection is a 140cm-wide textile with no pattern repeat, making the understated surface easy to plan across furniture. The composition is 50% pol, 24% cot, 12% vis and 14% li, which helps explain the slightly dry, woven feel visible in the image. Monza Iron shows as a muted mid-grey with a warm, stone-leaning cast, lifted by faint tonal variation and slender vertical texture. It has the look of a smart upholstery cloth rather than a flat solid, with enough visual interest to soften larger pieces without becoming busy. Care instructions are NQT1<.

How to use it

Use Monza Iron on clean-lined sofas, dining chairs or headboards where you want a calm grey with a little texture. Its warm iron tone pairs neatly with black accents, pale oak and soft white linens.

A versatile grey with a subtle linen-look surface for tailored, contemporary schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
