Hardwick Spice

Eco -Friendly Ranges Fabric

Hardwick Spice pairs a softly faded geometric layout with warm terracotta, oatmeal and stone shades. The large looping forms give the fabric a vintage, timeworn energy that feels characterful rather than stark.

About this fabric

Woven in a durable 140cm width, Hardwick Spice combines 80% Recycled Polyester, 12% Cotton and 8% Polyester, making it a practical textile with a familiar upholstered handle. The 68.5cm vertical repeat suits the scale of the design, where rounded rectangular bands step through terracotta, biscuit, beige and chalky cream. In the image, the print reads sun-warmed and slightly distressed, with the pale grounds softening the stronger rust notes and keeping the overall effect relaxed. The visible texture and layered colour give it enough presence for statement pieces without losing the easy, usable feel of the Eco-Friendly Ranges collection.

How to use it

This spice-toned colourway works well on an accent chair, banquette or Roman blind, where the large pattern can be seen clearly. Pair it with plaster pinks, warm oak and natural linens to echo its softened terracotta warmth.

Use for warm statement upholstery or full-length curtains with a retro, softly worn feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hardwick Spice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
