About this fabric
This colourway of Jazz uses a repeated narrow stripe motif with broken, brushy edges that give the surface a relaxed, artisanal rhythm. The ochre bands are balanced by chalky ivory, muted taupe and dark brown-black lines, so the overall effect is warm without becoming too bright. Woven in 100% recycled polyester, it offers a practical textile base at 145cm wide with a 46cm vertical and 18.5cm horizontal pattern repeat. The texture visible in the swatch helps the stripes catch the light unevenly, adding depth and making the gold notes feel softly sunlit rather than sharp.
How to use it
This ochre palette works well on occasional chairs, cushions or tailored curtains where you want a little warmth and movement. Pair it with oak, putty and deeper brown accents to echo the fabric’s earthy stripe sequence.
Use with warm neutrals to let the ochre threads bring gentle warmth and movement.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Jazz Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
