About this fabric

Nomad Noir from Fryett's Fabrics has a 137cm width and is composed of 8% Cotton and 92% Recycled Polyester. The swatch shows a warm beige base animated by black, hand-drawn style outlines that form an organic, repeat pattern with a strong vertical rhythm. The surface reads soft and slightly plush rather than crisp, which helps the darker marks sit into the fabric instead of sitting flat on top. With a 32.5cm vertical repeat and 23cm horizontal repeat, the design has enough scale to make a statement on upholstered pieces without losing its textured, lived-in character.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an armchair, ottoman or dining seat where the warm beige background can lift a darker interior. It also works well against walnut, black metal and other earthy finishes, letting the pattern read as graphic rather than busy.

The warm neutral base makes the bold black motif feel tailored and modern.
