Mendoza Rosso

Patagonia Fabric

Mendoza Rosso brings the Patagonia leaf design into a soft, sun-washed red palette. The large botanical motif feels lively rather than heavy, with pale blush ground tones that keep the pattern airy.

About this fabric

Woven in 73% polyester and 27% viscose, Mendoza Rosso has the practical feel of a furnishing fabric with a smooth surface that lets the print read clearly. The 145cm width and 63.8cm pattern repeat make it well suited to larger upholstered pieces where the leaf motif can be shown to full effect. This colourway mixes terracotta, rose, berry and muted blush, with lighter leaves and stems softening the stronger reds. The result is warm and decorative, but less saturated than a classic crimson, so it sits comfortably in rooms that need colour without glare.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, banquette or occasional chair where the botanical print can add movement against timber, cane or neutral paintwork. It also works well with dusty pink, plaster, oatmeal and walnut tones for a layered, textural scheme.

Pair with warm woods and plain linens to let the leaf pattern and softened red ground stay in focus.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
