Liana Fig
Plains & Semi Plains Fabric
Liana Fig is a plain weave with a softly mellow rose tone that reads deeper and moodier than a standard pink. The surface has a dry, natural-looking texture that suits its understated finish.

About this fabric
Woven in 45% cotton, 38% linen and 17% viscose, this 140cm-wide fabric has the easy character of a natural-blend cloth with a gently muted handle. The colour is a dusky fig rose: warmer than mauve, cooler than terracotta, and softened enough to feel calm rather than bright. Its fine, even plain weave gives the shade a smooth, lightly tactile appearance with just enough texture to catch the light. With no pattern repeat and no performance finish noted, it is a straightforward, versatile textile for upholstery or drapery where a quiet colour statement is wanted. Care instruction NQT1< should be followed as supplied.
How to use it
Use Liana Fig to bring warmth to pale timber, stone and chalky neutrals, or pair it with deep green accents for a richer, more tailored room. It is especially effective on upholstered pieces and cushions where the subdued pink can sit as a sophisticated accent rather than a sweet one.
A quietly rich rose-pink that works beautifully across clean-lined upholstery and relaxed curtains.

Pairs well with
Liana Fig is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
