About this fabric

Woven in a 45% cotton, 38% linen and 17% viscose blend, this 140cm fabric has the look of a grounded natural cloth with a gently softened handle. The colour reads as a pale mushroom taupe, neither overtly beige nor grey, with a calm warmth that sits close to the weave. Its plain appearance and low visual contrast make the texture the main feature, giving the cloth a refined, understated finish. With no pattern repeat and no performance finish noted, it is a straightforward upholstery-or-drapery option for schemes that favour quiet neutrals.

How to use it

Use this mushroom shade on a clean-lined chair, cushion or Roman blind where a soft neutral is needed without brightening the room too much. It pairs especially well with oak, plaster pinks and stone-coloured paints.

A softly muted neutral that layers easily with timber, stone and other natural textures.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
