About this fabric

This Canton fabric is composed of 38% linen, 36% cotton, 19% viscose and 7% polyester, with a 138 cm width. Narrow sage stripes alternate with cream panels, while pale botanical sprigs run vertically through the wider green bands, creating a clear striped rhythm without a heavy visual effect. The design has a 38 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 34.5 cm horizontal repeat, making it suitable for curtains and bedspreads. It must not be washed, bleached or ironed, and should be professionally dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use the muted sage tone for full-length curtains in a cream, stone or warm timber scheme, repeating the stripe on a tailored bedspread for a coordinated country-house look. Its pale floral detail also works well against softly painted neutral walls where the vertical lines can add height.

A refined sage-and-cream stripe for softly traditional curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
