About this fabric

The design is made up of closely spaced, comma-like leaves and curling botanical trails, with the warm ivory marks standing clearly against the cool blue background. Its muted colour balance keeps the pattern gentle rather than vivid, while the irregular shapes give the surface visual movement across the wall. Supplied as 100% Non Woven, this wallpaper is 70 cm wide and has a 25 cm vertical pattern repeat. The modest repeat suits the compact scale of the scrolling motif, allowing the blue-and-ivory arrangement to read as an even all-over surface.

How to use it

Use Tansy Blue in a bedroom, hallway or relaxed sitting room where its cool powder-blue tone can sit alongside warm ivory, pale timber and softly aged finishes. Repeat the ivory accent through painted woodwork or understated upholstery for a connected scheme.

A cool powder-blue and ivory small-scale wallpaper for calm, softly layered rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
