Nympheus Sunset

Originals Wallpaper WallpaperBW45123.3

Nympheus Sunset layers warm orange blooms and softly coloured birds over a deep blue-grey ground. Olive lily pads, sweeping leaves and fine botanical stems give the design a richly illustrated, natural-history character.

About this wallpaper

This wallpaper is made from 100% non-woven material and measures 52 cm wide, with a 71 cm vertical pattern repeat. The blue-grey background gives the colourway a cool, shaded depth, while orange and ochre flowers provide concentrated warmth. Olive-green lily pads and foliage sit alongside cream, tan and russet bird details, creating a densely composed botanical scene. The large-scale repeat is clearly visible in the swatch, with flowering stems, birds and pond foliage arranged as a continuous narrative.

How to use it

Use Nympheus Sunset to bring an atmospheric blue-grey backdrop to a study, dining room or bedroom, pairing it with olive upholstery and accents of burnt orange. Warm timber and aged brass will reinforce the paper’s illustrated, heritage-inspired palette.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Nympheus Sunset without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
